Confluent creates agents for Tibco, C++

Confluent Software has added agents to its Web services management software that offer operational best practice enforcement components for Tibco and C++ environments.

Confluent Software Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., a Web services management software provider, said that it has created agents designed to offer operational best practice enforcement components for Tibco and C++ environments.

The company said that its Confluent Agent for Tibco helps users enforce operational rules and monitor interactions between business applications connected by Tibco BusinessWorks. Tibco BusinessWorks customers can use Confluent to ensure service requests to or from business applications participating in a managed business process comply with security and quality-of-service best practices, Confluent said.

Confluent Agent for C++ aims to ensure that users' application interactions will comply with their operational standards, even when they extend their service-oriented architectures to include applications that have not yet been updated to modern runtime architectures.

Confluent Agent for Tibco and Confluent agent for C++ will become generally available in the first quarter of 2004, Confluent said.
