How to build a SOAP Adapter?

I am working on an EAI product, where I am supposed to build a SOAP Adapter using Apache SOAP and Java. Basically...

it is supposed to do this SOAP request/message to MOM message and vice-versa. My question is how to achive this and further, is there is some similar product existing?

The Java based SOAP products include Cape Clear, Shinka, Glue and Juice. I would begin your research with those -- it really depends upon what MOM you are referring to. SOAP by itself is not transport protocol specific, so you could implement the command/control logic in Java, and in theory this would be transparent to HTML, CORBA or MQ Series.
